Teaching, no longer just a fallback choice!

Undergraduates are applying to Teach First as much as to the traditional professions of law and banking. Teaching is no longer something to fall back on but a best choice.  The invigoration of teaching is one of the triumphs of our times and an unexpected consequence of globalism.

The television people we celebrate now are visionary teachers, be they Sir David Attenborough, Stephen Fry or Jamie Oliver.
