Drivers confident of passing — again!!!

It’s no secret that, once most drivers have passed their test, they develop a few bad habits behind the wheel.

Despite this, a new poll reveals that 76 per cent of UK motorists are confident they would pass the practical element of the driving test first time if asked to take it again.

That’s assuming, of course, that they could get through the theory test, a subject drivers in the poll, which was carried out by GEM Motoring Assist, the road safety and breakdown organisation, felt less confident about. Less than 50 per cent of those asked thought they would pass the theory test first time, while just 35 per cent said they were as familiar with the HighwDrivers confident ay Code now as when they originally took the test.

Parking was revealed to be motorists’ main concern, with 26 per cent admitting it would represent the biggest challenge in a practical test, followed by reversing and city driving.
